iOS 5 new features ? [video]

According to TechCrunch, iOS 5 will integrate voice control and artificial intelligence from the company named as Siri.
Apple has acquired this company in April 2010. iOS 5 will be demonstrated in Worldwide Developers Conference which is going to be held from 6th June 2011 at Mascone Center in San Francisco. According to Electronista, Apple has been hiring voice technology experts.

A year ago, Apple bought Siri, a virtual personal assistant startup that had released a very cool iPhone app. The Siri team and technology are now said to be a big part of iOS 5.

The use of Siri’s artificial intelligence and assistance technology is said to be deeply integrated into the OS for all the different services offered. And the team is now putting the finishing touches on the elements that will be demoed at WWDC, we hear. This tech may also be opened to developers for use in third-party apps – though that information isn’t quite as concrete.
According to Electronista
The move supports recent Apple hiring plans late last year that focused heavily on voice command support. Siri’s technology was based around performing relatively complex actions, such as booking tickets for a movie or setting a calendar appointment, by describing it in plain language.
Android has used lots of voice control features but Apple has used limited features of voice control. So Apple will use Siri’s artificial intelligence to compete with Android. For your kind information siri is an application which will allow you to perform tasks using simple, real English commands. Well, It will be demonstrated in WWDC 2011. You can watch the video embedded below to see it in action.
