According to Digitimes, the chance that Apple would adopt a dual-core processor on the iPhone 5 make it "very high".
Digitimes says it in a note written on the adoption of these processors in most high-end smartphones that will be produced in 2011. With applications and especially games with increasingly complex and high-resolution display, dual-core processors have now become essential.
Apple should use the new A5 dual-core processor with the iPad 2 and then, later, with the iPhone 5. Unless surprises, the processor will be manufactured by Samsung more, than just the next Mobile World Congress will present the Orion Dual Core processor, which could be used for the new A5.
