    Hi, I get error 1604, any solution, and try the iREB but I still get error 1604, I'm using is Firm ""Download iPhone3G activated no MultiTasking No Background Pic + Battery Percent + 1024MB Root""

    a custom firmware is a firmware who is create by private dudes as u can read what is includet what not at the link´s
    yeh it will erase limera1n ,but u can install it easyli after u install the custom firmware

    actvated means u dont need to plug in a simcard after installing the firmware for using ur apps and mail and all
    not activated means u need to plug in a simcard otherwise only ermergency calls
